Stroke Awareness Day

On 2 April 2011 the club in conjunction with the Stroke Association once again encouraged members of the public to have their blood pressure checked at St Andrew's Church Hall in Southgate. Over 200 people were checked and a number were referred to their GP for further tests. We are very grateful to the members of the local branch of the Red Cross who gave up their free time to carry out the tests. We are also grateful to St Andrew's Church for allowing us to use the Church hall.
